entryway pendant

I took a trip to IKEA yesterday with my bestie to get all the goods for her living room/dining room makeover. I can’t wait to show you what she’s doing. Out with the old and in with the new. She sold her dining room set and is totally overhauling their color scheme from saturated colors to light and airy. How exciting is that?

While we were there, I spotted the pendant light that I had stored in my memory banks when I saw it on houzz.

I snapped a picture with my phone and texted Jason just to test the waters…only for him to come back and say to get it if I wanted it.

WHA!!!!???

Usually it’s a fight. This isn’t as fun.

But after babbling texts back and forth with the hubs and a quick smack across the face from the bestie wondering what the heck my problem was, I put it on the cart.

But first, this has to go.

I’m not saying it’s not lovely, because it is.

It’s just not for me. It’s way too calm.

And I’m more of a “whoa, what is that!?” kind of girl.

So, I’m listing it on Craigslist and patiently awaiting the installation of this lovely IKEA art piece.
